• It’s a busy meeting point and a tourist attraction.

St Paul’s Cathedral • It’s the second largest church in the world.

• Prince Charles married Lady Diana Spencer here.

British Museum • One of the most important museums in the world.

• It contains rich collections from all over the world and has become one of the best libraries.

Westminster Abbey • It’s the London Royal Church.

• All the Kings and Queens have been crowned here in the “Coronation Chair”

Buckingham Palace

• Official residence of the Queen and the Royal Family when they are in London.

• The Changing of the Guard (a colourful ceremony) takes place in front of the Palace.

TOWER OF LONDON • It was built to be a fortress, then it was a prison and it was even a zoo! today a museum where the Crown Jewels it’s are kept.

• Its guards are the Beefeaters.

Tower Bridge

• It’s the lowest bridge over Thames.

Big Ben

• Famous clock tower in London near the Houses of Parliament.

• It was named after the first commissioner of works Sir Benjamin Hall.
