What you need to sign up for an account
on Healthcare.gov
Email Address

Head to Healthcare.gov
To get started
click the Orange
Button that says,
“Apply Now”.
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…
1. Select Illinois from the
dropdown menu. Click the
green “Apply Online” button.
2. Enter your name, address and
e-mail address.
3. Create a password – be sure
to write it down! Answer
some security questions, and
click “Create Account”.
Check your email.
You should get an email like
this. Just one more step! Click
the link and verify your email
address.
You’re all done!
This is what you should see after you
click the link in your email.
Congratulations! You have created an
account at healthcare.gov.
