• Global Policy Management
– Global Policy Proposal for the Allocation of
IPv4 Blocks to Regional Internet Registries
• Adopted in APNIC, LACNIC and final call concluded in
AfriNIC.
• Adopted in ARIN with different text.
• Under discussion in RIPE.
• ASO/AC decided this policy proposal failed to get global
consensus and advised NRO EC about that.
– Global Policy proposal for allocation of ASNs
to RIRs
• Adopted in APNIC, RIPE and ARIN
• Waiting for ratification by LACNIC and AfriNIC boards.
