Education Program
Four green roof courses plus specialized half-day workshops including:
• Integrated Water Management for Buildings and Sites
• Green Walls 101
• Introduction to Rooftop Urban Agriculture
• Advanced Green Roof Maintenance
Green Roof Professional (GRP) Accreditation Program
• In 2008, sixteen subject matter experts met
to develop detailed Occupational Standards
for the Green Roof Professional (GRP)
designation.
• These standards form the detailed
knowledge requirements for the GRP and
establish the basis for the GRP multidisciplinary, multiple choice exam.

Green Roof Professional (GRP) Accreditation Program
Industry-driven, exam-based certification.
Launched in June of 2009.
Now over 500 GRPs in the marketplace.
