Conclusions
• Underweight rates: Africa moving away from
MDG. Asia and LAC moving close to MDG. But
Asia MDG target is 50% higher than Africa.
• FAO Undernourishment rates: Africa moving in
wrong direction. Asia without China not making
progress. LAC on track.
• FAO Undernourishment numbers (WFS Target):
No regions projected to meet targets.
