About VPA Organization:
•
Vokkaligara Parishat of America (VPA) is a non-profit organization
(Tax ID: 31-1529941) was formed in 1991.
•
VPA is registered in the State of Illinois as a non-profit organization. VPA's
central office is in Illinois and it is managed by the President of Midwest
Chapter.
•
VPA is dedicated to Unite Vokkaligas and promote literacy, cultural,
educational, social, economic, health of the people of the Vokkaliga
community of North America.
•
VPA has formed following four regional Chapters:
VPA-East , VPA-Midwest , VPA-South , VPA-West
•
There are about 800 Vokkaliga families in North America as part of VPA
•
VPA has 15 Board of Trustees including 6 office bearers.

To invite distinguished Vokkaliga scholars, artists, artisans and statesmen
to USA
To solicit, raise and disburse funds for charitable purposes
To create a network of VPA members
To organize literary, educational, youth and cultural conferences
To channel the resources of the Vokkaligas in the US to assist rural
communities
of Karnataka
