 Notify banks & credit card companies of your travel plans (location and length of stay)  Make photocopies of all cards (front and back) and know the numbers to call if lost/stolen  Check to see if your bank has an affiliate abroad to save you money on network fees  Know your network (Cirrus, Star, Plus, etc.)
