Review Transcript & complete Graduation Petition
Send home transcript/Course Selection form to
revise senior year course requests.
Students will bring home Course Selection form &
Graduation Petition to complete & get parent
signature.
Students must bring completed Advanced/Honors
& AP Request form to request higher level courses.
Students should TALK to teachers AND consult the
Academic Planning Guide.
Course Selection with Counselor
US History classes
Monday, 03/09 – Friday, 03/13
Registration for 11th graders (Students released
from US History classes to meet with Counselor)
Students must bring the following with
Parent Signature:
Completed Graduation Petition
Revised Course Selection form
Advanced/Honors/AP request form (if applicable)
TA/Peer Teacher request forms (if applicable)

All hours MUST be documented.
Hours must be completed by the end of the
Junior Year.
Summer School/Night School
Credit Recovery for courses needed to fulfill
graduation requirements.
Summer school registration forms will be
available in April.
Two sessions (am/pm) – each session is one
semester credit per class.
Four weeks (June 15th - July 9th)
Night School is available fall & spring semester.
Night School classes do NOT fulfill four year
college eligibility requirements.

September & October on Monday afternoons.

Sierra College – Students can register anytime!
On campus (RHS) application workshops will be
held midyear for all seniors.
Private & Out of State Schools
Check application deadlines for prospective
schools – can vary school to school.

Must include Algebra I, Geometry, & Algebra II
2 years Lab Science (4 years recommended)
Must include one year Physical Science & one year Life
Science (Biology and Physics or Chemistry required)
2 years Foreign Language (3 years recommended)

We recommend testing spring of junior year
& retaking early fall senior year if needed.

CSU does not require the writing portion of the ACT
at this time.
California State University
The CSU application includes:
College Prep GPA (10-12th) – includes all
courses taken from our A-G course list
(found in the Academic Planning Guide)
SAT or ACT – CSU will “power score” the
SAT not the ACT.
Exception: Cal Poly will review grades
earned 9th – 12th, contains additional
questions on application.
University of California
The UC application includes:
College Prep GPA (10-12th) – includes all courses
taken from our A-G course list (found in the
Academic Planning Guide).
SAT or ACT score on single test date.

Personal Statement – 1000 words for two open
