Spiritual Care in UWS

Three academic studies in ‘UWS’ exploring various aspects of
spiritual care in the pre-registration nursing curriculum.

education.




Produce resources/materials to support teaching staff to integrate
spiritual care as part of holistic care.
Explore ways of assisting staff and students to meet their spiritual

We missed the deadline for the January 2010 cohort.
The pack has been produced and piloted amongst staff
and interested parties.
It will be launched on 24th May 2010 to 370 student
nurses across the four campuses.
It will be introduced to senior managers and clinicians in
NHS Lanarkshire on 2nd June 2010.
In July/August 2010 it will be evaluated and any changes
made.
