Name the route
Describe the route
Author the route
Click “OK” to save
and open the new
route

Select “Edit” and then
“Points”
Click “insert” to add a
new point
Click “edit” to change an
existing point
Click “delete” to remove
an existing point
Click “move up” or “move
down” to modify order
Click “rename” to change
the name of a point

Highlight the Asset Name to copy and right click mouse
Select “Copy To” and modify the Asset Name for the new asset
Click OK and then right click mouse

Click “Add” button

warnings to reflect new
data and baselines






Select “Edit” and
“Thresholds”
Highlight the ID
Select the sensor from
drop down menu
Enter the new warning and
alarm levels

Transfer Routes to Data Collector
Link the SDT 170 to PC



Turn the SDT 170 On; the main screen is displayed (rep. 1)
Connect the connector (rep. 4) to the COM1 of the PC.
Connect the connector (rep. 3) to the SDT 170 MD.
(rep. 2) on the SDT 170 MD ; the main screen is displayed (rep. 1).
