Red Tape Challenge
• New web based Government tool seeking
views from the public, businesses and
others about regulations
• All health and safety regulations available
for comment on the site continuously.
• Will also be highlighted as the main topic
on the site for two weeks, 30 June -14
July 2011.

Regulations are structured under five themes:
1. general health and safety;
2. major hazard industries;
3. higher risk workplaces;
4. dealing with hazardous chemicals and materials
5. fire safety (the responsibility of DCLG)).
HSE is actively encouraging people to engage in
this process and to submit their ideas for
consideration.
