Team evaluated the report-out from Atlanta
meeting and confirmed the main issue is:
• Challenge to develop quickly a comprehensive
list of certification requirements and current
issues/interpretations
– Awareness Domestic and foreign requirements and
policies
Cross Group Coordination
Highly endorse/encourage Communication
and Design Process group’s effort to define
an industry acceptable definition of roles
and responsibilities
Highly endorse/encourage industry to
implement certification strategy as an
agenda item for initial coordination
meetings

Group agreed that developing and posting on the WAEA
working group website some general guidelines for
creating a preliminary certification strategy
• Use elements from Michael Williams presentation to start discussion
– Certification Planning
– Communicate with regulators
Michael Williams and Wade Price will prepare the initial
input for review and discussion post to Certification
Discussion site.
Certification Accomplishments
Group agreed to post to the WAEA website
their “best and greatest” certification

focal point at the WAEA to work with for help
