Why a Single State District?
▪
▪
History of District II:
DII is the only District with its own
office and full support staff
Why: The medical liability crisis in the
1980’s resulted in the need for government
intervention and the DII leadership
wanted to ensure that Ob-Gyns were
adequately represented in the government
arena at the state capitol in Albany.
