Math & English Placement
Incoming students with no college credit in English and/or math will be placed in their initial English or math class based on their ACT sub scores: English Math 17 or less= English 099 18 or more= English 111 17 or less= Math 050 18-22= Math 100, 110, 112, 115 or Stats 110 23-25=Math 120, 140 or 150 26 or more= Math 160 Students may choose to take a class in a lower placement level Students with previously earned credit in college level English or math may enroll in the next appropriate course regardless of ACT or test scores
Foreign Language Placement Your advisor can help you register for the appropriate foreign language course. As a rule, two years of high school French, German, or Spanish with a grade of A or B is considered the equivalent of one semester of college study.
