Argument 1- Cut Down Consumption The more meat we consume the more demand there is for it in the rest of society. This subject is important because the meat industry releases dangerous greenhouse gases into the air and many rain forests are torn down to make more room for animal grazing areas. Also the meat industry is very cruel to animals.
