History

Creative Visions Social Services is a
non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable and
educational organization. The
organization began serving clients in
June of 1997 and obtained our 501
(c)(3) status September of 1998.
MISSION STATEMENT
To engage youth by providing
leadership skills and opportunities for
self-sufficiency.


GOALS
■To promote youth development opportunities and
activities that center on supporting education for
youth as well as empowering them to help
themselves

To actively engage youth in their own development
by providing programs and services that promote
positive youth development

To develop partnership for positive youth
development

To promote healthy youth development as a
worldwide priority

To provide opportunities for young people to be
involved in service learning experiences in the school
and community

To encourage, organize and promote inter-agency
activities, events and programs for youth

To provide opportunities for youth to develop selfknowledge, self-confidence and leadership skills

OBJECTIVES

Develop strong partnerships between youth and
adults by including youth and adults on program
planning and implementation

Develop leadership and citizenship skills in youth

Provide programming to increase youth life skills
(e. g. decision making, public speaking, ethical
awareness, self-esteem, critical thinking, proactive
coping, inquiry, self-understanding, responsibility,
leadership, and team work)

Provide youth with opportunities to participate in
internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing,
and/or youth-adult career mentoring opportunities
OBJECTIVES CONT’D

Coordinate and implement activities for youth to
explore future opportunities (e.g. careers,
education, entrepreneurship, business) and/or
exploration of work aptitude, styles, and
preferences

Promote collaborative relationships among
underserved audiences, service providers, and the
broader community

Develop opportunities for youth from underserved
audiences will develop life skills that will assist
them in reaching their potential

Increase the effectiveness of service delivery to
adolescents and their families
