The Todor Kableshkov University of Transport in Sofia, Bulgaria
trains students and postgraduate students for acquiring engineering
and special qualification for the needs of transport and transport
infrastructure who can find jobs in all fields of:








land transportation;
transport manufacturing;
telecommunications;
signalling;
logistics;
building industry;
power engineering;
management of transport.
UNIVERSITY HISTORY
Founded as State Railway School in
1922, reorganized as Railway College in 1958 and
Higher Military School of Transport in 1984, the Todor
Kableshkov Higher School was demilitarized in 2000. At
present, for more than 90 years, it has been a unique
prominent centre of training specialists for the transport
sector.
UNIVERSITY ACCREDITATION
The Todor Kableshkov University of
Transport has a five-year institutional
accreditation and has been implementing
the System of Quality Management
according to EN ISO 9001:2008 standard
since 2003.
The Todor Kableshkov University of
Transport has been applying the
European Credit Transfer System
(ECTS) and issues diplomas with the
European diploma application.
The Todor Kableshkov University of Transport trains students
in two main fields of higher education :
