 Don’t twist your body- use your feet if
you have to
 Use proper handholds- make sure you
have a stable grip before you start


Never stick your hands into the robot
when it’s turned on
 Make sure everyone stands back before
you enable it
 When practicing driving the robot, keep it
away from people
 Use proper lifting technique

Batteries
Any battery that looks damaged is unsafe to use
 Contain sulfuric acid- it will burn your skin on
contact
 A battery is not safe to use if it is dropped
◦ Even when it looks okay, there might be a crack
that could cause the battery to explode
 Pick up the batteries by the case, not the wires

