Request of all of you • Users help us identify bugs and places for improvement. • Your information/data is not lost, even if you cannot see them. This is exactly the opposite of how we feel! WHY ORB? • Improved reporting system that will improve efficiencies • Makes data collection fun & uniform • Measures 4-H Impact • Helps Youth develop record keeping skills in a 21st century environment • Opportunities for mentoring • Extended opportunities for club members to connect with each other How many people are using the system? • As of February 2, 2012 12noon: 2,113 people using ORB. The ORB & 4hOnline Relationship DATA • ORB gets all its information directly from 4hOnline. • ORB uses the same login information that you use to gain access to 4hOnline. • http://ca.4honline.com/ Live Training Portion 4-H Youth Development Program Common Log-In Issues 1. Email address problems 2. Adult password problems 3. Youth password problems 4-H Youth Development Program Before going further… • Is the enrollment entered in 4hOnline? • Not just paper forms handed in … the information has to be entered into the 4hOnline enrollment system. • Was your family email address entered correctly? • No typos? • You haven’t changed it? • Not using a secondary email? Email problems What is my 4hOnline email address?! • Each enrollment record is placed within a family account. • Each family account contains one primary email address for the family • Does not matter whether that family includes youth, youth and adults, or just adults. • This is typically from either the adult or youth enrollment form and is either entered by a) the parent of the member in 4hOnline. b) by the County 4-H Office in 4hOnline. If you don’t remember or know the email address, do not create a new account, contact your Volunteer Enrollment Coordinator or the County 4-H Office. Why is my email not working? • Try another email address. • Contact your Volunteer Enrollment Coordinator or the County 4-H Office. • There are four possible causes: 1) you are using an incorrect email address. 2) your enrollment has not been entered into 4hOnline. 3) an email was not entered for your family account [left blank]. 4) your family email was entered incorrectly. For example: [email protected] was entered as [email protected] Password problems What is my (adult) 4hOnline password?! • To obtain your 4hOnline password and you KNOW your email address: • Click “I forgot my password.” • The 4hOnline system will send the password to the email address on record. http://ca.4honline.com/ And then this error?! • This is really an email address problem. Look back to errors with email addresses. • Try another email address. • Contact your Volunteer Enrollment Coordinator or the County 4-H Office. • There are four possible causes: 1) you are using an incorrect email address. 2) your enrollment has not been entered into 4hOnline. 3) an email was not entered for your family account [left blank]. 4) your family email was entered incorrectly. For example: [email protected] was entered as [email protected] What is my (youth) 4hOnline password?! • Parents need to go to https://ca.4honline.com/ and log into their 4hOnline account. • Once logged into 4hOnline, parents need to set an Online Record Book password by clicking “Change Youth Password for Record books.” • One youth password for entire family. • This will set a separate password for youth members to access the 4-H Online Record Book. What is my (youth) 4hOnline password?! I don’t show up! I don’t show up! • Contact your Volunteer Enrollment Coordinator or the County 4-H Office. • There are three possible causes: 1) your enrollment was entered less than 15 minutes ago. 2) your enrollment has not been entered into 4hOnline. 3) your enrollment was entered in a different family account. 4) Perhaps there’s a bug? Login Unsuccessful?! • Contact your Volunteer Enrollment Coordinator or the County 4-H Office. • There are two possible causes: 1) Your enrollment is not “active.” 2) your enrollment was entered less than 15 minutes ago. 3) Perhaps there’s a bug?
