POLAIR PRESENTS THE NEW RADA TRADEMARK August 2010 RADA TRADE MARK ТМ RADA introduces professional equipment for restaurants, canteens, bars and other public catering facilities in the Russian market. RADA line-up includes the product groups enjoying the most demand of the customers: dishwashing machines, electric ovens, food service counters, cabinet ovens, washing tanks, racks, food-serving trolleys and many more. RADA FACTORY PRODUCTION FACILITIES RADA factory is located in Saransk, the capital of Mordovia. Two production departments with total area of over 96 thousand sq. ft. make up the factory floors. The facility operates state-of-the-art equipment from Amada (Japan). All products made in the factory are being developed and improved by the in-house design department. LOGISTIC DEPARTMENT A modern logistic department is integrated into RADA factory; the department spans more than 43 thousand sq. ft. It includes modern warehouses for products, materials and components, with a unified accounting system based on EAN-13 bar code standards. The facility is intended to store over 15,000 products. Convenient approaches and operation system facilitate daily loading and unloading of more than ten trucks. QUALITY CERTIFICATE In 2006, RADA factory was certified as compatible with the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 standard. RADA factory was the first Russian production enterprise in this field to be granted such certificate. RADA TRADE MARK HISTORY 2000 — RADA trade mark production launch. 2002 — RADA factory complex re-equipment; multilevel quality control system is established. 2005 — successful production of new types of equipment: - dishwashing machines, - refrigerating equipment. 2006 — the factory was granted an international DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 standard quality management certificate. 2007 — new product group was launched in production: - 700 series thermal equipment. 2010 — POLAIR acquired 51 per cent share in RADA professional equipment manufacturer. RADА PRODUCTS DEVELOPMENT AND MANUFACTURING The main advantages of RADA factory are its modern equipment, as well as highly efficient production processes management. The design department that is part of the factory structure is continuously working to improve the existing products and also carries out innovative projects targeted at new product development. Its technique and software facilitate even the most complex design objectives within minimal time span. All production processes are based on lean manufacturing principles.
