This topic is about the sanctity of life: life is
sacred. Christians believe in immortality of
the souls and for Muslims, judgement day is
the day of resurrection. Today:

Fact: The beliefs on all religions on the
sanctity of life tend to be contained in
their attitudes to life and death,
abortion and Euthanasia. However, it is
possible to see some specific teaching
on the sanctity (holiness, sacredness) of
life.

Some people do not believe in life after
death because:
The main evidence for life after death is
in Holy books which contradict each
other. For example, the Qur’an teaches
resurrection, the Gita teaches reincarnation, some of the Bible teaches
immortality of the soul

No one has undoubtedly returned from
the dead.
Science shows that when the body dies,
the brain dies, and life-support
machines show that the brain dies, so
what could survive death?
There is no place where life after death
could take place.

Answer for full mark:
(a) the sacredness of life is the religious idea
that life is holy and is a gift from god
(b) Christians have different views on life
after death. They believe in judgement day
where souls will be judged by God, they
believe in the immortality of the soul and do
believe in the resurrection: all souls will be
resurrected in their bodies as Jesus did in the
Bible.
