Click the Audio Setup Wizard button at the top of the
Audio-Video Window and follow wizard steps as provided
Click the TALK button at the bottom of the
Audio-Video Window to talk, click it again when
finished talking to release the microphone
(adjust volume with slider bars above button)
To participate without speaking:
- Use emoticons to communicate non-verbally
- Respond to Polling questions with POLL tool
- Draw on Whiteboard (when asked by presenter)
with whiteboard tools at left side of whiteboard
- Type responses in the CHAT panel at the bottom

- these audio and video file types will load into your Multimedia
Library, and can be preloaded before your session begins

• Your login to practice setting up a session will be
username=training# (your number from hand raise)
password=collaborate
• When Web Tour begins – login at upper-right
• Toggle back to Collaborate and click CHECK (yes)
when successfully logged in

Practice, Practice, Practice
• Get coworkers to meet you in a practice room and
explore the tools together
• Set up 2 computers and login both to see both
presenter’s view and participant’s view
• Setup a Virtual Office (webinar with LONG duration – up
to 1 year) to have impromptu meetings
Reduce Distractions
• Find an isolated place to conduct webinars if possible
• Post signs during webinar to let others know you’re in a
session
• Turn off email notify, send phone to voice mail, clear
desktop, etc.
