Adding a Class

 To add a class after August 30 th , you must complete an enrollment request form

and follow this procedure:   Obtain the faculty member’s signature indicating approval of the late add. If it is an online course, faculty may send the student an e-mail indicating approval of the override.

Once you have the faculty member's signature or e mail, bring the form (and e-mail) to the Herberger Office of Student Success (Design South 101) and obtain Asst. Dean Melissa Phelan’s signature or stamp

Overrides

 Overrides – normal reasons are: getting into a class that is full, a time conflict, getting into a class when you don’t have the prerequisites  YOU must talk to the instructor and get her/his permission  The instructor (not you) must email the office staff asking for the override  They have to supply the course line number, your name, and your ID, so supply all of these items to the instructor

8/22/09 freshman orientation 12

 The instructor will notify you when it is completed and you will need to go online and add the course  You should CHECK (on MyASU) to make sure it has registered – you are responsible always to ensure you are officially registered for the correct classes
