Adding a Class
To add a class after August 30 th , you must complete an enrollment request form
( http://www.asu.edu/registrar/forms/pdf/EnrollmentREQUEST.pdf)
and follow this procedure: Obtain the faculty member’s signature indicating approval of the late add. If it is an online course, faculty may send the student an e-mail indicating approval of the override.
Once you have the faculty member's signature or e mail, bring the form (and e-mail) to the Herberger Office of Student Success (Design South 101) and obtain Asst. Dean Melissa Phelan’s signature or stamp

Once you have both signatures, you take the form to the University Registrar's Office (Student Services Building) to have the course added to your schedule Double-check your registration (on MyASU) to make sure the class appears on your course list

Overrides
Overrides – normal reasons are: getting into a class that is full, a time conflict, getting into a class when you don’t have the prerequisites YOU must talk to the instructor and get her/his permission The instructor (not you) must email the office staff asking for the override They have to supply the course line number, your name, and your ID, so supply all of these items to the instructor
8/22/09 freshman orientation 12
The instructor will notify you when it is completed and you will need to go online and add the course You should CHECK (on MyASU) to make sure it has registered – you are responsible always to ensure you are officially registered for the correct classes
