HOW WE OPERATE
The Board and its staff assures the public and
those it licenses that there is a balanced,
sensible approach to regulation, with the safety,
health and welfare of the public being our
primary concern.

The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts is
comprised of 15 members appointed by the
Governor and serve a four-year term.

permit.

applicant of any missing documents or needed

As documents come in, periodic letters will be
mailed to advise applicant of the progress

LICENSE RENEWAL INFO
License renewal will be required of all receiving a
permanent license prior to June 1
Annual renew between August 15th - September 30th
The license expires September 30th
The current renewal fee: $50.00
The late renewal period is October 1st through October
31st
The current late fee: $55.00
Renew online or by paper renewal form
Wallet Card (certificate of renewal) will be mailed
CONTINUING EDUCATION
During the 12-month period immediately
preceding the license expiration date, a
minimum of 12 hours of CEUs are due.
