• Weighting of responses
• Concerns re lowest level of EQF and
messages for learners

Determining Levels:
Level Descriptors
Describe the level of knowledge and/or skills and
expected performance at each level of the SCQF
in terms of 5 characteristics (skill areas) which are
• Knowledge and understanding;
• Practice (applied knowledge and understanding);
• Generic cognitive skills, such as evaluation and
critical analysis;
• Communication, ICT and Numeracy Skills;
• Autonomy, accountability and working with others.

Qualifications-Essential:
• Qualified to SCQF Level 5* e.g. Standard Grades at
Credit or Intermediate 2 or NC/NPA and/or some
experience in the role of Administrative Assistant/Office
Junior with another company.
Qualifications - Desirable:
• An SVQ2 in Administration would be beneficial.
