1989 - American Lithotripsy Society designates as a lithotripsy training center
for urologists
- American Lithotripsy Society Quality Improvement Program certification
1995 - Long Island Lithotripsy Partnership is formed
- East Meadow, NY center opens
1998 - White Plains, NY lithotripsy center opens
2000 - Mobile lithotripsy program at hospitals begins

Allied will provide:

a state-of-the-art transportable lithotripter to the
institution’s procedure room on designated days

a Certified Renal Lithotripsy Specialist (CRLS) to
assist the urologist operating the lithotripter

all disposables for the machine

If preferred, Allied will perform all patient
scheduling with full billing information provided to
the institution.

Allied will assist the institution in developing
medical guidelines, protocols, discharge
instructions, and related documents.

Allied will provide in-service education for training
the institution’s clinical staff regarding lithotripsy.

The institution will provide:

suitable procedure, O.R., or cysto room

nursing, anesthesia, and recovery room services
and supplies

access for delivery of litho equipment
Allied Metro Medical
All patients will be patients of the institution.

The institution will provide its usual surgical
patient registration and PAT services.

All urologists performing procedures will be on
staff at the institution.

Financial Information

Our rates are competitive and can be negotiated
at a mutually convenient time.

The institution will bill directly to Medicare and
third party payors for Lithotripsy Services.

Urologists and anesthesiologists will bill fee-forservice directly to Medicare and third party payors
for Professional (Treatment) Services.
