Your WAP Annual State Plan Development
It is critically important that as part of any new DOE WAP
funded/supported leveraging project,
the Leveraging Project narrative and
budget must be written into the “DOE
State Plan”
submitted once a year to DOE for review and approval.
Start When You Get Home
• The development process for annual State Plan is
typically underway by early January
• time is of the essence for any state’s 2012-13 DOE
WAP State Plan to include a Leveraging Plan
• Developing leveraging and partnership strategies
should be a thoughtful process.
• A plan must have
information specific to your organization,
your goals, and
Proof of your ability to oversee such leveraging
goals/projects you may visualize
