IN THE 21ST CENTURY

Social problems
in the 20th century have
brought many lessons to
mankind
The settlement of conflicts in society:
confrontation
1. War and peace
2. The culture
 inhibits the development of all aspects of
social life
ethical values, cultural values are ignored.
The United Nations declared 2001
was the “Year of Dialogue among
civilizations based on tolerance”
globalization
Globalization has double impact to human’s lives
(From economic consideration only)
created the values
never had before
negative impacts:
+ the rapid increase
gap of rich and poor
+ increasing the
pressure inequality
between individuals,
etc
From the second half 20th century
to the 21st century is
characterized by:
- increasing political selfconsciousness of the civilization
in the links, the alliance for zone;
- the start of the antagonism
between them as basic lines of
the 21st century geopolitics.
Since the late 20th century,
with the beginning of
post-industrial society, the
plans prepared for war
between civilizations has
been placed on top

war are not removed

regarded a global project

Tolerance developed the basis for
building peace for mankind
1. to accurately assess the value
system of cultural social which has
benefits of peace
2. need of the correct method to
achieve the purpose of the new
historical conditions
3. determined to direct economic
benefits to the stability and fairness
Tolerance developed the basis for

4. identify causes the gap between
civilizations, peoples, classes of rich
and poor people
5. transferring technology and
education
6. all the development follow a
sustainable development
7. stabilization of world population and
overcoming the population explosion
The common spirit of tolerance and
a culture of peace is the only proper way
to solve a humanitarian issue of global
population
We should accept
the views of others
People should always
listen to others even when
angry and understand them

and training in all forms and on all its

is one of important consequences of
implementing tolerance in the modern

parties demostrate understanding and
mutual respect

2 main aspects
1) Consensus among the subjects of
politics or of other activities, issues this
or other issues, a consensus based on
the presence in them certain values ​and
basic standards, all social groups and
political groups basically agrees
2) The adoption decisions do not need to
vote, when the expression of consensus
for all.

The consensus is discriminated between
content and the form
The content of consensus means the
people’s unaminity is common in political
leaders and the political decisions or to
both.

In the political sphere:
Consensus means unanimity of the people
on the process through political decisions
 Consensus appears the attitude of respect
for human rights
 The political institutions - the legislature, the
courts, the political coalition - take the part
of the different reconcilement to create
social consensus

Where there is peace,
children can play with love,
happily and peacefully?

UNESCO declared 2010:
“International Year for the
Rapprochement of Cultures”

