UNIFIED MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM –
PLANNED ACTIVITIES
By the end of 2008:
 Launch of the Financial module and the module “On-the-spot
checks and irregularity management”
Activities planned for 2009:
 Development and launch of:
• “Monitoring” module
• Interface with the SAP accounting system
• Electronic services for the beneficiaries
• Public information module
• Interfaces for connection with external information systems
• Module for management of CBC OPs
STRENGTHENING THE ADMINISTRATIVE
CAPACITY
Trainings, organized by the Public Finance School:
 For employees of the MAs, IBs and the internal audit units:
• Legislative and institutional framework for management of
the SCF;
• Financial management and control in the public sector;
• Financial management and control of EU funds;
• Audit of the EU funds;
• State aid regulations – applicability to the SCF
 For the final beneficiaries, including the municipalities.
Horizontal trainings for the regional and local authorities under the
CCU’s project “Strengthening the capacity of the regional and local
authorities for absorption of the SCF of the EU”.
