Work Plan of WG on Rice Moisture Measurements
1. Conducting training on traceability of noncontacting body thermometers in Malaysia
Venue: Grand Blue Wave Hotel Shah Alam,
Period: Dec 5 - 8, 2005
Hoste: National Metrology Laboratory, SIRIM
Berhad, Malaysia
2. Budged seeking

Work Plan of WG on Rice Moisture Measurements
3. Discussion on the development of protocol of
international comparison
The international comparison of rice moisture meters will
be needed in near future. It is necessary to promote
mutual understanding among participating economies for
developing a protocol of international comparison, since
metrological control on grain moisture meters is different
among member economies. We have been discussing
protocol of international comparison in relation to the
development of curriculum.
4. Contribution to OIML TC17
Japan has been dispatching delegates to OIML
TC17/SC1s in the past. This year, Japan has dispatched
delegate to OIML TC17/SC8 held in Berlin. We will
contribute to activities of OIML TC17 and harmonization
of OIML TC and APLMF.
