Scope of Project


Implement a software system that included both
fixed and mobile equipment to facilitate the
effective tracking of patients from a mass
casualty incident (MCI) or event until
disposition at the treatment facility.
Project includes two phases: Pre-hospital and
hospital

 Can be operated in Access, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2

via ADO, ODBC, XML, or flat file.
 Enterprise Edition includes EMSware and Web Client
software


Scanners have been purchased for each MMRS hospital
Emergency Department.
Web-Based Access will be allowed for the following:

Regional Medical Communications Center
Knoxville/Knox County Emergency Management Agency
KCHD (RHC and ERC)
American Red Cross
Training



Phase I Training included an overview for key
players from EMS prior to testing at Boomsday
and the District II Homeland Security Exercise.
Phase II Training will involve Hospital
Emergency Department Staff.
Discussions are being held about having a
system like “Triage Tuesdays” where users can
continue to practice/train using the system.
