Read carefully & Read question more than once if necessary Understand what is being asked Read all the choices before choosing your answer Eliminate incorrect choices first if you have having difficulty There is only one correct answer choice
Constructed Response Questions
Read questions carefully If a question asks you to do more than one thing – for example: “identify and provide support” . . .Be sure you do BOTH THINGS!
Read over your written answer to be sure that it makes sense and that you didn’t leave out any information

Get a good night sleep before a test Relax & know that you are well prepared Try your best Answer all questions Check over your test carefully before turning it in Use good handwriting

Keep a positive attitude throughout the whole test and try to stay relaxed. If you start to feel nervous take a few deep breaths to relax. Do the easiest problems first. Don't stay on a problem that you are stuck on.
Do the problems that have the greatest point values first.

If you don't know an answer, skip it. Go on with the rest of the test and come back to it later. Other parts of the test may have some information that will help you out with that question.
Stand up and stretch during breaks.
