Healthy food in school
Situation:
Some parents are worried about the bad health of their kids. Even the Bavarian Ministry of Education is of the
opinion that too many children are obese because of an unhealthy diet and because they don`t do any sports.
Many parents and teachers are of the opinion that school could help to improve the situation. Of course the
students need to be integrated in such projects.
Task:
Discuss which projects could be carried out in order to teach pupils more about a healthy diet and a healthy
way of life. Make sure that the students can participate in these projects. Should the caretaker only sell healthy
food and beverages? What about the sport and biology lessons? Come up with some ideas of your own!!!
At the beginning of the discussion every participant will have about 1 minute to state his/her opinion on the matter.
