• part of National Offender Management
Service (NOMS) working with police &
prisons to reduce re-offending
• employs nearly 3,000 staff and deals with
over 70,000 offenders a year
• pan London - based in over 90 locations
including courts and prisons

SERVICES:
• Work with offenders sentenced by courts or released
from prison on licence
• Prepare 33,000 court reports each year
• Ensure offenders complete requirements of court orders
– e.g. supervision, programmes, unpaid work, curfew,
substance treatment…
• If released on licence ensure keep to conditions of
licence and help resettle into the community
• Work with victims of sexual or violent offences (where
offender receives minimum of 12 months custody)

Bulgaria, Hungary, Spain, Latvia, Malta
