to France
Paris and environs
Departure
Please be at B&Q carpark
at 23:30 on Sunday 13th
July for a departure at
midnight!
We need to be at Dover
by 7 am for the 7:30 am
Dover-Calais ferry
crossing.
Boarding
Do not board the coach
until given permission
from staff.
1 piece of hand luggage
1 suitcase or travel bag to
put on the coach.
You are responsible for
loading your suitcase into
the boot of the coach.
Keep money and
medicines in your hand
luggage.
Comfort!
14 hours
travelling!
Loose
comfortable
clothing.

Getting bored?
Entertainment –
magazines, books, an
MP3 player, travel
games, puzzle books.
Bring valuable
gadgets at your own
risk!
Food
You will need food and
drink for the journey
too – packed breakfast
and lunch.
Drinks are best bought
in either screw-top or
‘sports cap’ type lids.
Fizzy, canned drinks
are not recommended.
Weather
The weather is similar
to here – go prepared
for anything!
At this time of year it is
usually quite hot, so
bring sun cream and a
sun hat.
A waterproof coat and a
warm jumper are also
essential!
Getting about
Appropriate footwear.
High-heeled shoes
are no good on
cobbles; cobbled
streets are common!
Road Safety
Traffic on the right hand
side of the road.
Take care at zebra
crossings.
Always obey traffic lights.
Mobile phones
Not forbidden!

will be decided on Friday, during the
