• Is a national association solely
dedicated to Council Housing
• Aiming to get the best deal for councils
and their tenants.
• We are here to secure a future for
council housing.
Does this by…
•Representing collective interests of retained stock
councils
•Lobbying government for a strong retained stock
sector
•Helping members meet the challenges and seize
the opportunities of the recently reformed council
housing finance system and other government
initiatives
•Demonstrating the benefits of retained stock in
meeting wider local and national priorities
•Promoting best practice
•Listening to the views of tenants

• Meet four times a year
• Our Chair and Vice Chair are Directors on the ARCH
Executive Board
• There are currently 22 tenants on the Tenants' Group

• Meet and discuss topical issues affecting
Council tenants
• Feed in ideas and suggestions to ARCH
Executive
• Develop content for conference each
year
• Raise profile of ARCH
• Represent Tenants Group as Directors
