Setting up Your New Mail Domain

MS Outlook and Outlook Express

To Setup Email using MS Outlook

• On the Outlook menu bar, click/Select the according to the following: – Tools, Email Accounts, Add New Email Account, POP3, Next • • • • • • • • Fill in the details according to this example: Your Name: Loh Beng Ee Email Address: [email protected]

User Name: [email protected]

Password: as given Incoming Mail Server (POP3): mail.econiche.com.my

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.econiche.com.my

Select More Settings (see next page) Click Test Account Settings.. (see next page)

Step 7 : Select More Settings… 1.

Ensure that “My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication” is checked as 2.

according to the diagram Also see that this is checked “Use Same Settings as my incoming mail server” Step 8 : Test Account Settings… 1. All the task tested should be successful 2. If one or two is not successful, check your settings again

• On the Outlook Express menu bar, click/Select the according to the following: – Tools, Accounts, Add, Mail (after fill in details like the example below) – Display Name: Loh Beng Ee – Email Address: [email protected]

– Incoming Mail (POP3): mail.econiche.com.my

– Outgoing Mail (SMTP): mail.econiche.com.my

– Account Name: [email protected]

– Password: as given – Finish Note: ensure that “Remember Password” is checked & Ensure that “Log On using Secure Password Authentication” is not checked.
