All TLTs attend a Club Orientation Program
each year.
Level 1 & 2 TLTs complete 2 Operations each
year.
Level 3 TLTs complete 2 Operations plus work
on BST and Master Guide, Leadership Devel.
Level 4 TLTs complete 2 Operations plus work

(see Handout & TLT Manual pg. 19-22)
Operations are organized to provide for four
workshops per operation
Each workshop should cover tasks #1 & #2
(Task #3 is optional)
Note: It is crucially important that TLTs receive
instruction by attending interactive workshops,
not lecture-style classes!
4
Prepare activity-based workshop outlines so
instructors can teach interactively.
Workshop Outlines should include:
Purpose and goals of the workshop
Who the students are
Source curriculum material
Workshop activities that teach the concepts
Ideas for convention activities
Additional resources
5
(see TLT Manual pages 29-36)
Following the TLT workshops the TLT, with the
Mentor, writes on the “Notes” lines how he/she
will fulfill the requirements within the Club
When requirements are completed the TLT and
Mentor have an Operation Evaluation Review
When all requirements have been fulfilled in
two operations level-star pins are awarded

(see TLT Manual pg. 8)

are organized by the TLT Operations
