True and Tested Secrets to Job-Search Success

Take advantage of the resources on your campus provided by
Career Services. Trained, professional staff is available to guide
your student through the job search process and teach them how to
take the various steps with success.

A career advisor can’t “place” your student in a position. They’re on
campus to teach job searching skills, connect students with potential
employers, and prepare them to communicate their interests in a
position with that employer through resumes, cover letters, and
interview techniques.

Successful applicants relied on on-campus interviews, speaking with
company representatives at career/job fairs, viewing employer
information presentations, and posting their resumes on their career
services web sites.
