Welcome to Office 365!
How To Log In
From the LPISD Intranet page, select the “365 Cloud Email-Beta” icon.
Enter your LPISD staff email address and district password, then select “Sign In”.
Set Time Zone
After logging in, you will be prompted to select a time zone. Select “Central Time”, and click “Save”.
Outlook Apps-Mail, People, Calendar
Outlook in Office 365 is comprised of 3 apps:
Mail- Outlook
People- Contacts
Calendar- Personal and share calendars
Navigating Between the Office 365 Apps
To navigate between the apps, you can select either the App Launcher icon or the Office 365 Home button. Both are located in the upper top left corner of the webpage. App Launcher Office 365 Home
Setting Up Outlook on your Desktop
When you open Outlook 2013 from your desktop for the first time, you will be prompted to enter you credentials.
Enter your LPISD email address and password. Select “Remember my credentials” box. If you do not select that box, you will be prompted to sign in to Outlook every time you open Outlook.
If the credential box continues to pop up after you have selected the remember button, just close it out.
You may receive a message stating the a “Microsoft Administrator has made a change.” If this occurs, just click “OK”.
WARNING!!!! DO NOT INSTALL ANY APPS THROUGH OFFICE 365!
Do not click “Install” for any apps through Office 365. Do not install the Office 2013 suite offered through Office 365 on any system which already has Office installed. Your district computer should already have Office 2013. If it does not please submit a work order to have it installed. Installing any apps will result in issues with your computer. Your computer WILL NEED TO BE REIMAGED if these issues occur.
