FREE has secured ownership of a wind turbine
(1 of 15 owned by local developers)

Paying for the turbine over 15 years
Income:
◦ £50,000-£100,000 per annum while cost of turbine
is being repaid
◦ Approx. £400,000 (gross)per annum thereafter

Investing income in a project to insulate local
homes
◦ 46% of homes have free cavity wall & roof insulation







Planted 160,000 trees; purchased c.100 ha of
woodland from Forestry Commission
Created a play park in Tyndrum
