 You determine your own academic schedule and manage your own time.

 Plan on spending 2-3 hours outside of class for every hour you spend in class (e.g. if you take 12 units, you

When you are putting the author’s ideas into your own words (called paraphrasing) make sure you are not copying the authors phrases or sentence structure.
