Chairman for WG1 - Bachelor
EuroFaculty, first stage
• One of the objectives:
– Internationalising and updating the curriculum (at
what now is called PSU)
– That is, develop BAchelor/MAster structure
in accordance with the Bologna principles
• exchange the specialist (5 years integrated input oriented
program) with BA/MA (4 + 2 years, two cycles, outputoriented program)
• However, the project has three years, Bachelor
four year.
– We developed BA profiles, modules, courses with an
eye on the new Master in Economics (at PSU)
Bologna Declaration
• Originally, 10 – 12 overarching objectives for EHEA.
• Mobility of Labour on the “European Area”
• National Qualifications

– Comparable
– Interchangeable across borders
• Requirements and Toolbox
– Learning Outcomes (and modularisation)
– Descriptors (knowledge, skills, competences)
– ECTS
Bachelor Qualifications
in a certain field study

professional approach to work or vocation, and
problem solving competences
• ability to gather and interpret relevant data
• communicate information, ideas, problems and
solutions to both specialist and non-specialist
audiences
• learning skills necessary to continue to undertake
further study with a high degree of autonomy.
I believe we really play in accordance
with the Bologna Rules
• Developed three BA
profiles
– AA, accounting and
auditing
– FC, finance and credit
– IB, international business
• Major-Minor
• Expected Graduates
– 2013: 40
– 2014: 61
– 2015: 203 (119 full time)
• Mainly FC and AA
A Bachelor
• Should be/can be/is usually
for a university program
fuel, blood, backbone, money pump.
• A good BA program attracts students and
money
– A necessary condition is that the program is
developed well and described well; but it is not a
sufficient conditions
Future
• Take the Temperature, and adjust
• Mutual Academic Recognition and Exchange
Students
• More advanced textbooks
• Upgrading students’ professional skills and
competences
– Case materials, Compendiums
• Much more
With an Eye on Master Program
• At the present moment two Master programs
are in play
– The International Master (EuroFaculty Second Stage)
– Master in Economics has Licence
• To be developed in accordance with the Bologna
principles
• Worthwhile to consider more RF Master
Programs; the faculty has more PhD programs
than Master programs.
