procedure.

Description:
Programa para la
Gestión Integral de
Desechos Sólidos
(PNGIDS)
• The program will grant economic incentives (subsidies) for the implementation of pilot
projects that may serve as an example for the sector as a whole.
•The incentive will be delivered expost on the basis of the amount of carbon bioxide that
the proyect avoids ($/tCO2e).
•The amount of the incentive depends on the type of technology implemented.
• The objective is to avoid 500,000 tCO2 until december 31st 2021.
•The number of proyects that will receive the incentives depends on their mitigation
potential.
