Steps to Making Healthy Decisions
• Identify the decision to be made.
• List your options. Identify all of the possible
choices and get more information (from food
labels, the internet, your teacher, your
parents…).

Mario just got home from school and
he’s very hungry. His mom left him a
note. The note says, “You may have an
apple or four peanut butter crackers for
your snack.” But Mario knows there is
leftover birthday cake in the refrigerator.
What should he do?????
