General Construction Plan

• Build outer 2 lanes: 2008 – 2011 • Rebuild/lengthen all bridges & overpasses along alignment: 2008 – 2011 • Shift traffic into 2 new outer lanes: 2011 • Construction on inner 2 (HOT) lanes: 2011 - 2012

Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)

• No Beltway closures during peak rush hours • Route 123, Route 7 and Dulles Toll Road will be impacted but remain open during the entire project • Businesses and residential communities will remain accessible • Through traffic is not directed to local streets • Scheduled lane closures are communicated in advance
