The Monza Fast Patrol/Attack Craft (MPA-17) has been designed for offshore patrol missions that require high speed capability in difficult waters. The MPA17 is an advanced design Long Range Interceptor (LRI) and is an ideal craft for numerous professional organisations including Special Forces, Marine Police, Coastguard, Oil Companies and many others. The MPA-17 offers unprecedented performance and speed rarely seen for this type of vessel – 70 knots plus. CAPABILITIES OF THE MONZA STEALTH INTERCEPTOR With an operational crew of 4 and an option for a further 10 seats for transiting commandos or rescued bodies, the MPA-17 can be specified as a long range lifeboat/troop carrier , a Fast Patrol Attack craft or as an insertion vessel. The MPA-17 is supplied with twin 1450hp Gas Turbines plus a 925hp MTU Diesel as standard all working through Rolls Royce Water Jets . These power systems allows the MPA-17 to stay out at sea for 4/5 days at a time in all types of operating environments.
