“And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.”

I believe the understanding of the interpretation of the 7 TRUMPETS of Revelation is KEY to understanding the “timeline” of the Book and many of its theological truths.

I believe that the 1 st SIX TRUMPETS are sounds of warning to the world and awakening to the church in the last days just before the Rapture of the Church. I believe the first 5 have already “blown.” I believe that the 7 th Trumpet represents the Rapture of the Church. I believe in a literal rapture or “taking away” of the church. I believe that the Rapture occurs sometime (probably about 3 ½ years) just after the antichrist emerges on the world scene as a “solution” to terrorism and the Middle East turmoil, especially that involving Israel.

TRUMPETS ONE AND TWO Revelation 8:6-11

Rev 8:6-11 (NIV) 6 them.

Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound 7 The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, 9 a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water- 11 the name of the star is Wormwood . A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

IF TRUMPET THREE IS CHERNOBYL IN 1986 - THEN TRUMPETS ONE AND TWO BLEW SOMETIME BEFORE THAT!

1. Something like a huge mountain ALL ABLAZE 2. 1/3 of the “creatures in the sea” destroyed 3. 1/3 of the ships destroyed… 4. 1/3 of grass, trees and earth – BURNED UP 5. Hail and fire mixed with blood coming from above *SEA = body of water…or – a “vast expanse” of people, lands, nations, etc… *CREATURES = created things, including man.

*1/3 = symbolic - A BIG NUMBER - but not ALL, not even MOST!

THINK - If Trumpet number THREE is Chernobyl - 1986 THEN - Trumpets ONE and TWO had to have occurred before 1986.

AND …if these TRUMPETS are GOD’S Warnings to the World and a sign to Believers that the return of the Lord is near…then Trumpets ONE and TWO would have to be speaking to a WORLD noticed event - something BIG!

THERE IS ONLY ONE EVENT IN ALL OF HISTORY THAT MATCHES THE PROPHECY ELEMENTS OF TRUMPETS ONE AND TWO... Have you ever wondered why WWII would not seem to be mentioned in the Bible? Largest war - most nations most killed - nuclear bomb.

Trumpet ONE - EUROPEAN THEATER “scorched earth” policy Hitler had a – he left behind devastating disaster of burned trees, grass, fields, homes, towns, cities… He did this with bombs from the air, tanks, flame throwers, fires, etc.

This type of unparalleled devastation to much of Europe was left by ALL THE FORCES in the war. Could this be what John saw, but couldn’t describe in any other way?

Hail and fire mixed with blood falling from the sky… THEN JOHN SAID…I SAW… Trumpet Two “Something like a huge mountain , ALL ABLAZE the sea.”… was thrown into

REMEMBER: IT WAS

NOT

SOMETHING LIKE A HUGE MOUNTAIN …but rather, a huge mountain…all ablaze…thrown into the “sea”.

Captain Robert Lewis, the co-pilot of the plane that dropped “the bomb”, stated, "Where we had seen a clear city two minutes before, we could no longer see the city. We could see smoke and fires creeping up the sides of the mountains."Within three miles of the explosion, 60,000 of the 90,000 buildings were demolished. Clay roof tiles had melted together. Shadows of previously living people had imprinted on buildings and other hard surfaces. Metal and stone had melted. Unlike many other bombing raids, the goal for this raid had not been a military installation but rather an entire city. The atomic bomb that exploded over Hiroshima killed civilian women and children in addition to soldiers. * 140,000 of 400,000 people died! Right at 1/3 of the entire population! ("Enola Gay and the Atomic Bomb." NHK & NHK Enterprises21 1995) * 200 million soldiers fought in WWII from all the countries involved. There were about 61 million casualties – again…right at 1/3 of all who fought!

COINCIDENCE?

TRUMPETS 1 - 2- 3… HAVE BLOWN!

DAYS OF THE FIG TREE?

Luke 13:6-7 6 Then Jesus told this parable: " A man had a fig tree , planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it, but did not find any.

7 So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, 'For three years now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?' (NIV) THE FIG TREE IS ISRAEL !

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming . That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.

13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
