Results
• 10 IST projects were presented: E3Work, EASYCRAFT, EMERGENCE, FlexWork,
ONTOUR, PALIO, SmartUp, TEAMwork, THINK, WISTCIS
• Discussions on opportunities of future co-operation between EU and Baltic
organisations (And even between Baltic’s one!)
• Partners finding, building of new consortia for future projects in the context of the
new IST programme (6 Frame Work programme)
• More than 30 agreements to co-operate have been signed between EU and Baltic
States organisations

2002 (21-26 October) and was a parallel event to this forum.
INFOBALT 2002 forum was held at the same time with:

Area for Information Society”
•League of Investors
•the Baltic Sea and CEEC Data Protection and Information Security Workshop
•the 9th International Exhibition INFOBALT of Information Society Technologies
8 agreements to co-operate have been signed between EU and Baltic States
organisations
