have a basic understanding.
In this lesson students are learning
about:
• mobile phone networks and coverage
• possible health risks associated with mobile
phone networks/usage
• connection types (GPRS, EDGE, 3G)
• environmental issues related to the
manufacture, use and disposal of mobile
phones
At the end of this lesson students will
be able to:
• explain in basic terms the principles of cell
networks
• explain the difference between connection
types and check coverage in a particular area
• describe health concerns associated with
mobile phone networks/usage
• describe the environmental issues associated
with the manufacture, use and disposal of
mobile phones
